Twins take down Tribe

The Minnesota Twins were led to a 4-1 victory over the Cleveland Indians by the bat of Joe Mauer at Progressive Field in Game 2 of their weekend series Saturday.

Minnesota won as -133 road favorite while the final score played under the 9-run total.

Mauer went 2-for-4 at the plate while Nick Punto, Orlando Cabrera and Brendan Harris registered RBI. Starter Scott Baker was solid through six innings, allowing just one earned run on three hits.

Indians starting pitcher Justin Masterson went six innings, giving up one earned run on five hits. Cleveland's bullpen surrendered two earned runs in the late innings.
