Indians sweep Tigers
The Cleveland Indians completed a sweep of the three-game series Wednesday by defeating the Detroit Tigers 4-3 in the second game of a doubleheader at Progressive Field.
Cleveland won the game as +135 underdogs, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (8) set by sportsbooks.
Michael Brantley went 2-for-3 with a run batted in for the Indians. Josh Tomlin picked up the win, while Chris Perez closed out the game for his 23rd save.
Justin Verlander took the loss after giving up seven hits and four runs over seven innings for the Tigers.
