Rangers sweep Red Sox
The Texas Rangers completed a three-game sweep of the Boston Red Sox with a 3-1 win Wednesday afternoon in the series finale at Rangers Ballpark.
Texas won the game as +140 underdogs, while the four runs went UNDER the night’s posted over/under (10).
Ian Kinsler went deep for the Rangers, while Taylor Teagarden and Elvis Andrus drove in the other runs. Dustin Nippert tossed 5 2-3 innings to earn the win. Doug Mathis pitched just over three innings of relief to get the save.
Nick Green went deep for the only run for the Red Sox. Clay Buchholz allowed all three runs over four innings to suffer his first loss.
