Mariners clip Rangers

The Seattle Mariners snapped a two-game losing skid with a 7-2 victory over the Texas Rangers Saturday night at Rangers Ballpark.

Seattle won the game as -115 favorites, while the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8).

Ken Griffey Jr. belted a three-run homer to propel the Mariners. Felix Hernandez tossed seven innings and improved to 12-4 with the win.

Nelson Cruz cracked a solo home run and finished with two RBIs for the Rangers. Tommy Hunter gave up five runs over five innings in the loss.
