Astros down Rangers in opener
Chris Johnson went 4-for-5 with three runs batted in as the Houston Astros defeated the Texas Rangers 7-4 Friday night in the opener of a three-game series at Rangers Ballpark.
The Astros won the game as a +250 underdog, while the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (9.5) set by sportsbooks.
Brian Moehler scattered eight hits and three runs over five innings for the win, while Matt Lindstrom notched his 18th save with a scoreless ninth.
Colby Lewis was saddled with the loss after giving up nine hits and five runs over five innings for the Rangers.
