Rangers take down A’s in finale

Taylor Teagarden hit a two-run homer in helping the Texas Rangers defeat the Oakland A’s 7-4 in the series rubber match Thursday night.

The Rangers won the game as -200 favorites, and the 11 runs made it OVER the posted over/under (8.5) set by sportsbooks.

Vladimir Guerrero also knocked in a pair for the Rangers, while C.J. Wilson scattered seven hits and three runs over 5 2-3 innings in the win.

Vin Mazzaro surrendered 12 hits and seven runs over 5 2-3 innings taking the loss.
