Felix Hernandez allowed one run over eight innings to earn the win, as the Seattle Mariners downed the Texas Rangers 3-1 on Tuesday night.

Seattle cashed as -145 road favorites, while the teams played UNDER the 7.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Justin Smoak hit a two-run blast for the Mariners, who also got a run batted in from Franklin Gutierrez in the win.

David Murphy was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Texas, while Scott Feldman gave up three runs over 4 1-3 innings to take the loss for the Rangers.
