Molina powers Giants over Mets
Bengie Molina belted a game-winning homer in the 10th inning to give the San Francisco Giants a 5-4 win over the New York Mets Saturday at Citi Field.
San Francisco won the game as +125 underdogs, but the nine runs made it OVER the posted over/under (7).
Molina finished 3-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs for the Giants. Brian Wilson pitched 2 2-3 scoreless innings for the win.
Luis Castillo had three hits and scored twice for the Mets. Francisco Rodriguez allowed the winning run and suffered the loss on the hill.
