Catcher Henry Blanco hit a solo home run in the 11th inning to give the New York Mets a 5-4 win over the San Francisco Giants at Citi Field Saturday.

Blanco finished 3-for-5 at the plate while Jason Bay and Angel Pagan each knocked in two runs. Starter Johan Santana pitched just under eight innings, giving up four runs on eight hits.

The Giants got two RBIs from Aubrey Huff and solo RBI from Juan Uribe and Pablo Sandoval. Starting pitcher Todd Wellemeyer lasted just over four innings, giving up four runs on three hits while walking five batters.
