Mets sweep away Pirates
Angel Pagan had three hits and drove in a pair of runs to help the New York Mets defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates 6-2 Thursday in a sweep of the four-game set at Citi Field.
The Mets won the game as -185 favorites, and the eight runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (8) set by sportsbooks.
Lucas Duda went 2-for-4 with a pair of runs batted in for the Mets. Mike Pelfrey earned the win on the mound, allowing just six hits and two runs over seven innings.
Wil Ledezma gave up the winning run in relief and was tagged with the loss.
