White Sox fend off Orioles
The Chicago White Sox scored all their runs in one inning and held off a ninth-inning rally for a 4-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles Saturday afternoon at U.S. Cellular Field.
Chicago won the game as -155 favorites, while the seven runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).
Jermaine Dye led the way for the White Sox with a two-run homer, and Gordon Beckam had three hits with one RBI. Mark Buehrle improved to 10-3 with the victory, and Bobby Jenks collected his 21st save of the season.
Nolan Reimold drove in a pair of runs for the Orioles, while Brad Bergesen allowed all four runs over six innings on the mound.
