Orioles double Tigers in opener

Jake Fox belted a two-run homer and the Baltimore Orioles beat the Detroit Tigers 6-3 Friday night in the opener of a three-game set at Comerica Park.

The Orioles won the game as +134 underdogs, while the nine runs went as a PUSH against the posted over/under (9) set by sportsbooks.

David Fernandez tossed the win in relief for the Orioles, and Koji Uehara closed out the ninth for his eighth save.

Miguel Cabrera hit a two-run homer and drove in all three runs for the Tigers. Phil Coke gave up two runs in relief and was tagged with the loss.
