Orioles dump Twins
The Baltimore Orioles avoided a three-game sweep by defeating the Minnesota Twins 5-1 Wednesday night at the Metrodome.
Baltimore won the game as +150 underdogs, while the six runs went UNDER the posted over/under (10).
Chad Moeller went 2-for-2 at the plate and drove in a pair of runs for the Orioles. Jeremy Guthrie earned his ninth win, allowing six hits and one run.
Justin Morneau drove in the lone run for the Twins. Nick Blackburn surrendered nine hits and four runs over 5 2-3 innings in the loss.
