The Baltimore Orioles avoided a four-game sweep with a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays Thursday night at Tropicana Field.

Baltimore won the game as +220 underdogs, while the five runs went UNDER the posted over/under (9).

Nick Markakis had one RBI and scored a run for the Orioles. Chris Walters pitched five innings for the win, and Jim Johnson collected his ninth save.

Ben Zobrist went deep in a losing effort for the Rays. Matt Garza allowed six hits and three runs over six innings.
