Yankees clip Rays in extra innings

Jorge Posada's dinger in the top of the 10th inning lifted the New York Yankees past the Tampa Bay Rays 8-7 on Tuesday night.

New York won as +110 road underdogs, while the game played OVER the 8.5-run total set by oddsmakers.

Robinson Cano was 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and three runs batted in for the Yankees, as David Robertson picked up the win for New York in relief of Ivan Nova.

Willy Aybar hit a three-run blast for Tampa Bay, while Dan Wheeler took the loss for the Rays after allowing Posada's shot in the 10th.
