Blue Jays edge Orioles in extras
The Toronto Blue Jays battled for a 5-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles in 11 innings at the Rogers Center Saturday.
Toronto won as a -113 home favorite while the final score played under the 10.5-run total.
Aaron Hill knocked in the winning run in the 11th inning and finished 2-for-6 with a home run and two RBI. Call-up starter Robert Ray allowed four runs in just under six innings of work while the Jays bullpen held off the Orioles for the win.
Baltimore outfielder Adam Jones hit his fifth home run of the season and finished 3-for-6 in the loss. Orioles starter Brad Bergesen was solid through six innings, allowing three runs on six hits.
