A's hold off Blue Jays

The Oakland Athletics held off a late push from the Toronto Blue Jays for a 4-3 win at Rogers Centre Saturday afternoon.

Oakland won as a +101 road underdog while the final score played UNDER the 9-run total.

The Athletics got a big day from leadoff hitter Cliff Pennington, who finished 3-for-5 while catcher Josh Donaldson knocked in two runs with a home run in the fourth inning.

Outfielder and leadoff man Fred Lewis went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Starting pitcher Dana Eveland went juts under seven inning, allowing four runs on eight hits.
