Seattle Defeats Los Angeles 77-57 - Recap
The battle between the Storm and Sparks didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Los Angeles was handed a 77-57 defeat on Tuesday at KeyArena.
The Storm were a 6-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score dipped UNDER the total, which closed at 146.5.
Seattle got 18 points from Temeka Johnson and another 17 points from Tina Thompson. Tanisha Wright contributed 9 assists, while Tina Thompson cleaned the glass with 10 rebounds.
Los Angeles got 12 points from Nneka Ogwumike in a losing cause and another 10 points from Alana Beard. Candace Parker contributed 3 assists for the Sparks, while Candace Parker had 10 rebounds.
Seattle led at halftime, 51-37.
Seattle had a 36-28 advantage in the rebounding department as they won the battle in the paint.
Seattle looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Mercury. The Sparks will aim to get back on the winning track vs Tulsa.
