Portland got 24 points from Wesley Matthews and another 12 points from Robin Lopez. Nicolas Batum contributed 10 assists, while LaMarcus Aldridge cleaned the glass with 13 rebounds.

The Nuggets got an 18 -point performance from Wilson Chandler, who was supported by 14 points from Randy Foye. Ty Lawson had 11 assists in a losing cause for Denver, while J.J. Hickson grabbed 7 rebounds.

Portland trailed at halftime, 67-59.

Portland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 40-35.

Next game, Portland takes its act home to face Minnesota looking for another win. For Denver, they head home to face Indiana.
