Washington got 23 points from Trevor Ariza in a losing cause and another 19 points from Nene Hilario. Bradley Beal contributed 8 assists for the Wizards, while Marcin Gortat had 11 rebounds.
The Jazz hit the break trailing 53-51 before taking care of business in the second half.
The rebound battle favored Washington as they grabbed 47 boards, while Utah only had 41.
Next game, Utah takes its act home to face Sacramento looking for another win. For Washington, they head on the road to face Golden State.
