Atlanta Falls 34-10 to Bengals - Recap
Cincinnati cruised to victory on Thursday, as they ran up a 34-10 score against Atlanta in Preseason Week 1 action at Georgia Dome.
The Bengals were a 1.5-point underdog in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 36.5.
Josh Johnson completed 9 of 16 pass attempts for 100 yards and 1 TD for the Bengals in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Ronnie Wingo rushed for 29 yards for Atlanta, while Jason Snelling added 23 yards. Matt Ryan threw for 89 yards for the Falcons, while receivers Drew Davis and Harry Douglas had 53 and 42 yards respectively.
Atlanta lost the offensive yardage battle to Cincinnati 434-268 yards in Thursday's game. Cincinnati had more first downs as that total ended up 24-15.
Atlanta lost the time of possession battle 30:48/27:15, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Cincinnati takes its act home to face Tennessee looking for another win. For Atlanta, they head on the road to face Baltimore.
