The Bears grabbed a Preseason Week 2 victory over the Chargers on Thursday, winning 33-28 at Soldier Field.
Chicago did not, however, defeat the Chargers against the spread, which closed at 5.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 37.5.

Ryan Mathews rushed for 45 yards for San Diego, while Edwin Baker added 36 yards. Brad Sorensen threw for 126 yards for the Chargers, while receivers Ladarius Green and Robert Meachem had 78 and 40 yards respectively.
Chicago lost the offensive yardage battle to San Diego 383-185 yards in Thursday's game. San Diego had more first downs as that total ended up 24-13.
San Diego lost the time of possession battle 32:25/27:35, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Chicago looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Raiders. The Chargers will aim to get back on the winning track at Arizona.
