Shock dominate Fever in Game 1

The defending champion Detroit Shock earned a convincing 72-56 victory over the top-seeded Indiana Fever Wednesday night in the opener of the Eastern Conference finals.

Detroit covered the 2-point spread, while the 128 points went UNDER the posted total of 146.

Shavonte Zellous netted 23 points for the Shock, and Deanna Nolan added 22 in the victory.

Katie Douglas had 16 points and dished out five assists in the loss.
