The Clippers were burned for 32 points by LaMarcus Aldridge on Thursday as the Trail Blazers picked up a 116-112 win at Rose Garden.

Portland did not, however, defeat the Clippers against the spread, which closed at 4.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 214.5.

Portland got 19 points from Nicolas Batum and another 19 points from Wesley Matthews. Mo Williams contributed 8 assists, while Robin Lopez cleaned the glass with 15 rebounds.

The Clippers got a 35-point performance from Blake Griffin, who was supported by 34 points from Chris Paul. Chris Paul had 16 assists in a losing cause for Los Angeles, while DeAndre Jordan grabbed 19 rebounds.

Portland led at halftime, 47-46.

Portland won the battle of the boards, outrebounding their counterparts 60-48.

Next game, Portland takes its act home to face Miami looking for another win. For Los Angeles, they head home to face Utah.
