Miami vs Florida State Wrap - Florida State Wins 23-19
The Seminoles grabbed a Week 11 victory over the Hurricanes on Saturday, winning 23-19 at Doak Campbell Stadium.
Florida State did not, however, defeat the Hurricanes against the spread, which closed at 12.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 51.5.
EJ Manuel completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 196 yards for the Seminoles in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Lamar Miller rushed for 92 yards for Miami, while Jacory Harris added 31 yards. Jacory Harris threw for 225 yards for the Hurricanes, while receivers Tommy Streeter and Allen Hurns had 68 and 52 yards respectively.
Florida State was outgained by Miami 383-259 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-13 by the Hurricanes.
Miami led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 32:44/27:16 split in that important category.
Florida State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Virginia. Miami will aim to get back on the winning track at South Florida.
