Casey Pachall sliced and diced the Jayhawks defense for 335 yards as TCU handed Kansas a 20-6 defeat on Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
TCU won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 20-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 60.5.
Waymon James rushed for 99 yards, while Matthew Tucker added 65 yards in the win. Brandon Carter and LaDarius Brown added 141 and 70 receiving yards respectively.
Taylor Cox rushed for 47 yards for Kansas, while Tony Pierson added 35 yards. Dayne Crist threw for 303 yards for the Jayhawks, while receivers Andrew Turzilli and Tony Pierson had 100 and 99 yards respectively.
Kansas was outgained by TCU 487-380 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-19 by the Horned Frogs.
Kansas lost the time of possession battle 34:17/25:43, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, TCU takes its act home to face Virginia looking for another win. For Kansas, they head on the road to face Northern Illinois.
