Fresno State vs Oregon Wrap - Oregon Wins 42-25
Kenjon Barner scampered through the Fresno State defense for 201 yards as Oregon handed the Bulldogs a 42-25 defeat on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
Oregon did not, however, defeat the Bulldogs against the spread, which closed at 34.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 77.5.
Marcus Mariota completed 19 of 27 pass attempts for 166 yards for the Ducks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Robbie Rouse rushed for 115 yards for Fresno State, while Andrew Shapiro added 23 yards. Derek Carr threw for 234 yards for the Bulldogs, while receivers Davante Adams and Isaiah Burse had 92 and 77 yards respectively.
Fresno State lost the offensive yardage battle to Oregon 532-365 yards in Saturday's game. Oregon had more first downs as that total ended up 27-23.
Fresno State led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:59/28:01 split in that important category.
Oregon looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Tennessee Tech. Fresno State will aim to get back on the winning track vs Colorado.
