Pittsburgh Defeats Connecticut 35-20 - Recap
Pittsburgh's aerial attack produced 419 yards and the Panthers produced a 35-20 victory over Connecticut on Wednesday at Heinz Field.

Tino Sunseri rushed for 40 yards, while Zach Brown added 30 yards in the win. Zach Brown and Mike Shanahan added 84 and 76 receiving yards respectively.
Lyle McCombs rushed for 124 yards for Connecticut, while Scott McCummings added 23 yards. Johnny McEntee threw for 193 yards for the Huskies, while receivers Kashif Moore and Ryan Griffin had 106 and 44 yards respectively.
Connecticut lost the offensive yardage battle to Pittsburgh 529-316 yards in Wednesday's game. Pittsburgh had more first downs as that total ended up 27-20.
Pittsburgh lost the time of possession battle 30:23/29:37, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Pittsburgh heads into a Week 10 battle against Cincinnati. Connecticut, meanwhile, will have their next action against Syracuse.
