Memphis Falls 41-7 to Pirates - Recap
Shane Carden was good for 308 yards through the air on Saturday as the Pirates got past the Tigers by a score of 41-7 at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium.

Vintavious Cooper rushed for 96 yards, while Brad Wornick added 4 yards in the win. Justin Hardy and Justin Jones added 137 and 80 receiving yards respectively.
Jai Steib rushed for 38 yards for Memphis, while Carl Harris added 37 yards. Jacob Karam threw for 153 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Marcus Rucker and Keiwone Malone had 88 and 29 yards respectively.
East Carolina outgained Memphis 369-281 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 21-16 by the Pirates.
Memphis led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:41/26:19 split in that important category.
Next game, East Carolina takes its act on the road to face UAB looking for another win. For Memphis, they head home to face Central Florida.
