Kent State vs Ohio Wrap - Ohio Wins 17-10
LaVon Brazill was good for 102 receiving yards on Saturday as the Bobcats grabbed a 17-10 win over the Golden Flashes at Peden Stadium.
The Bobcats earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 16-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 47.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Tyler Tettleton completed 28 of 42 pass attempts for 276 yards for the Bobcats in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Robert Hollomon rushed for 44 yards for Kent State, while Trayion Durham added 35 yards. Spencer Keith threw for 117 yards for the Golden Flashes, while receivers Matthew Hurdle and Jacquise Terry had 31 and 19 yards respectively.
Kent State lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio 391-217 yards in Saturday's game. Ohio had more first downs as that total ended up 22-14.
The time of possession battle favored Kent State as their offense was on the field for 30:49, longer than the 29:11 of their opponents.
Ohio heads into a Week 6 battle against Buffalo. Kent State, meanwhile, will have their next action against Northern Illinois.
