Alabama vs Mississippi Recap - Crimson Tide Win 52-7

Trent Richardson tore up the turf for 183 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Crimson Tide to a 52-7 win over the Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

AJ McCarron completed 19 of 24 pass attempts for 224 yards for the Crimson Tide in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Devin Thomas rushed for 12 yards for Mississippi, while Jeff Scott added 11 yards. Randall Mackey threw for 113 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Nickolas Brassell and Jamal Mosley had 101 and 8 yards respectively.

Mississippi lost the offensive yardage battle to Alabama 615-141 yards in Saturday's game. Alabama had more first downs as that total ended up 27-9.

Alabama led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 33:56/26:04 split in that important category.

Next game, Alabama takes its act home to face Tennessee looking for another win. For Mississippi, they head home to face Arkansas.
