Rebels Fall 29-24 Against Arkansas - Game Recap
Dennis Johnson tore up the turf for 160 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Razorbacks to a 29-24 win over the Rebels at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.
The Razorbacks earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 16-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 57.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Tyler Wilson completed 13 of 28 pass attempts for 232 yards for the Razorbacks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Brandon Bolden rushed for 68 yards for Mississippi, while Jeff Scott added 33 yards. Randall Mackey threw for 219 yards for the Rebels, while receivers Donte Moncrief and Nickolas Brassell had 73 and 70 yards respectively.
Arkansas outgained Mississippi 438-370 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 24-20 by the Rebels.
Arkansas lost the time of possession battle 37:18/22:42, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Arkansas looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Vanderbilt. Mississippi will aim to get back on the winning track at Auburn.
