Tigers Fall 62-3 Against Connecticut - Game Recap

Jordan Todman tore up the turf for 151 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Huskies to a 62-3 win over the Tigers at Rentschler Field.

The Huskies were a 43.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 58.5.

Zach Frazer completed 6 of 9 pass attempts for 104 yards for the Huskies in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Marcus Wright rushed for 22 yards for Texas Southern, while Maxwell Lacy added 16 yards. Arvell Nelson threw for 136 yards for the Tigers, while receivers Joe Anderson and Kirk Fitzhugh had 85 and 33 yards respectively.

Connecticut outgained Texas Southern 444-169 yards in the game, while the battle of first downs was won 17-8 by the Huskies.

Connecticut lost the time of possession battle 31:36/28:24, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
