Connecticut got a 141-yard performance from Lyle McCombs as a key part of its 35-3 victory over the Rams on Saturday at Rentschler Field.

Johnny McEntee completed 8 of 12 pass attempts for 113 yards for the Huskies in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.

Darryl Whiting rushed for 21 yards for Fordham, while Griffin Murphy added 17 yards. Peter Maetzold threw for 149 yards for the Rams, while receivers Brian Wetzel and Sam Ajala had 58 and 47 yards respectively.

Fordham was outgained by Connecticut 434-169 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-8 by the Huskies.

Fordham lost the time of possession battle 31:05/28:55, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
