Austin Peay was outgained by Middle Tennessee 654-348 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 32-19 by the Blue Raiders.
Middle Tennessee lost the time of possession battle 31:47/28:13, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
