South Carolina Defeats UAB 49-6 - Recap
UAB couldn't hang with the Gamecocks on Saturday as South Carolina blasted the Blazers 49-6 in Week 3 action at Williams-Brice Stadium.
The Gamecocks were a 33-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 53.5.
Dylan Thompson completed 5 of 10 pass attempts for 177 yards for the Gamecocks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Bashr Coles rushed for 14 yards for UAB, while Darrin Reaves added 10 yards. Jonathan Perry threw for 219 yards for the Blazers, while receivers Patrick Hearn and Jackie Williams had 66 and 45 yards respectively.
UAB led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:13/23:47 split in that important category.
South Carolina looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Missouri. UAB will aim to get back on the winning track at Ohio State.
