Jaguars Fall 30-10 Against Mississippi State - Game Recap
South Alabama couldn't hang with the Bulldogs on Saturday as Mississippi State blasted the Jaguars 30-10 in Week 4 action at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field.
Mississippi State did not, however, defeat the Jaguars against the spread, which closed at 32 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go UNDER the closing number of 48.5.

Demetre Baker rushed for 49 yards for South Alabama, while C.J. Bennett added 29 yards. C.J. Bennett threw for 154 yards for the Jaguars, while receivers Bryant Lavender and Jereme Jones had 80 and 49 yards respectively.
South Alabama lost the offensive yardage battle to Mississippi State 356-347 yards in Saturday's game. South Alabama had more first downs as that total ended up 21-15.
Mississippi State lost the time of possession battle 30:35/29:25, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
