Georgia claims Independence Bowl
The Georgia Bulldogs scored 22 points in the fourth quarter as they defeated the Texas A & M Aggies 44-20 Monday night in the Independence Bowl.
Georgia covered the 6.5-point spread, while the 64 points went UNDER the posted total of 65.5.
Caleb King ran for 60 yards and scored two touchdowns for Georgia, and Joe Cox threw for 157 yards with a pair of touchdowns.
Jerrod Johnson passed for 361 yards with a pair of touchdowns in the loss for Texas A & M.
