Mountaineers Fall 49-14 Against Texas Tech - Game Recap
Texas Tech's aerial attack produced 504 yards and the Red Raiders produced a 49-14 victory over West Virginia on Saturday at Jones AT&T Stadium.

SaDale Foster rushed for 87 yards, while Kenny Williams added 31 yards in the win. Jace Amaro and Darrin Moore added 156 and 92 receiving yards respectively.
Andrew Buie rushed for 71 yards for West Virginia, while Dustin Garrison added 42 yards. Geno Smith threw for 295 yards for the Mountaineers, while receivers Tavon Austin and J.D. Woods had 114 and 79 yards respectively.
West Virginia lost the offensive yardage battle to Texas Tech 686-428 yards in Saturday's game. Texas Tech had more first downs as that total ended up 30-25.
The time of possession battle favored West Virginia as their offense was on the field for 30:18, longer than the 29:42 of their opponents.
Texas Tech heads into a Week 8 battle against TCU. West Virginia, meanwhile, will have their next action against Kansas State.
