Air Force Defeats Colorado State 42-21 - Recap
Cody Getz ran for 222 yards as Air Force handled Colorado State by a score of 42-21 on Saturday at Falcon Stadium.
The Falcons were a 13.5-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 55.5.
Connor Dietz completed 2 of 5 pass attempts for 57 yards for the Falcons in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Tommey Morris rushed for 41 yards for Colorado State, while Chris Nwoke added 30 yards. M.J. McPeek threw for 292 yards for the Rams, while receivers Lou Greenwood and Charles Lovett had 118 and 44 yards respectively.
Colorado State lost the offensive yardage battle to Air Force 516-441 yards in Saturday's game. Air Force had more first downs as that total ended up 24-22.
The time of possession battle favored Colorado State as their offense was on the field for 31:46, longer than the 28:14 of their opponents.
