Buckeyes vs Buffaloes Final: 37-17 - Recap
The battle between the Buckeyes and Buffaloes didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Colorado was handed a 37-17 defeat on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
The Buckeyes were a 15-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 47.5.
Braxton Miller completed 5 of 13 pass attempts for 83 yards for the Buckeyes in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Rodney Stewart rushed for 55 yards for Colorado, while Tony Jones added 18 yards. Tyler Hansen threw for 238 yards for the Buffaloes, while receivers Ryan Deehan and Paul Richardson had 71 and 38 yards respectively.
Colorado was outgained by Ohio State 336-314 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 20-13 by the Buckeyes.
Colorado lost the time of possession battle 33:17/26:43, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Next game, Ohio State takes its act home to face Michigan State looking for another win. For Colorado, they head home to face Washington State.
