Owls Down Ball State 42-0 - Match Report
Bernard Pierce tore up the turf for 121 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Owls to a 42-0 win over the Cardinals at Scheumann Stadium.

Chester Stewart completed 10 of 13 pass attempts for 160 yards for the Owls in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Jahwan Edwards rushed for 66 yards for Ball State, while Dwayne Donigan added 34 yards. Keith Wenning threw for 155 yards for the Cardinals, while receivers Briggs Orsbon and Willie Snead had 68 and 25 yards respectively.
Ball State was outgained by Temple 510-236 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-18 by the Owls.
Temple led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 36:32/23:28 split in that important category.
Next game, Temple takes its act home to face Buffalo looking for another win. For Ball State, they head on the road to face Ohio.
