Bears vs Giants Final: 27-21 - Recap
Jay Cutler passed for 2 TDs and 262 yards in leading Chicago to a 27-21 win over New York on Thursday at Soldier Field.
The Bears earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 9.5-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 46.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Matt Forte rushed for 67 yards, while Jay Cutler added 20 yards in the win. Brandon Marshall and Martellus Bennett added 87 and 68 receiving yards respectively.
Brandon Jacobs rushed for 106 yards for New York, while Da'Rel Scott added 17 yards. Eli Manning threw for 239 yards for the Giants, while receivers Rueben Randle and Hakeem Nicks had 75 and 70 yards respectively.
New York lost the offensive yardage battle to Chicago 372-355 yards in Thursday's game. Chicago had more first downs as that total ended up 26-21.
The time of possession battle favored Chicago as their offense was on the field for 32:55, longer than the 27:05 of their opponents.
Chicago looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against the Redskins. The Giants will aim to get back on the winning track vs Minnesota.
