Tajh Boyd was good for 455 yards through the air on Saturday as the Tigers got past the Orange by a score of 49-14 at Carrier Dome.

Clemson was a favorite by 13.5 points and came through with an ATS victory for bettors. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 65.5.

Zac Brooks rushed for 46 yards, while Roderick McDowell added 41 yards in the win. Sammy Watkins and Adam Humphries added 126 and 118 receiving yards respectively.

Jerome Smith rushed for 125 yards for Syracuse, while Devante McFarlane added 95 yards. Terrel Hunt threw for 52 yards for the Orange, while receivers Ashton Broyld and Brisly Estime had 64 and 6 yards respectively.

Syracuse lost the offensive yardage battle to Clemson 624-397 yards in Saturday's game. Clemson had more first downs as that total ended up 27-13.

Syracuse led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 31:08/28:52 split in that important category.

Next game, Clemson takes its act home to face Boston College looking for another win. For Syracuse, they head on the road to face North Carolina State.
