Oregon Defeats Utah 44-21 - Recap
The battle between the Ducks and Utes didn’t turn out to be much of a battle at all as Utah was handed a 44-21 defeat on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.
The Ducks earned a straight-up victory but suffered an ATS defeat in failing to cover the 28-point spread. Over-Under bettors who played OVER the total of 63.5 were rewarded with a winning wager.
Marcus Mariota completed 19 of 26 pass attempts for 288 yards for the Ducks in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
James Poole rushed for 54 yards for Utah, while Lucky Radley added 45 yards. Adam Schulz threw for 181 yards for the Utes, while receivers Dominique Hatfield and Jake Murphy had 48 and 43 yards respectively.
Utah was outgained by Oregon 433-297 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-17 by the Ducks.
Utah led the time of possession tally, as the game finished as a 35:57/24:03 split in that important category.
Oregon heads into a Week 13 battle against Arizona. Utah, meanwhile, will have their next action against Washington State.
