Idaho Defeats Temple 26-24 - Recap
Chad Chalich sliced and diced the Owls defense for 310 yards as Idaho handed Temple a 26-24 defeat on Saturday at Kibbie Dome.
Idaho was the ATS victor, as they covered the 7.5-point spread as an underdog. Over-Under bettors who played UNDER the total of 57.5 were rewarded at the payout window.
Chad Chalich rushed for 114 yards, while Jerrel Brown added 28 yards in the win. Richard Montgomery and Najee Lovett added 102 and 78 receiving yards respectively.
Kenneth Harper rushed for 61 yards for Temple, while Zaire Williams added 48 yards. Connor Reilly threw for 249 yards for the Owls, while receivers Ryan Alderman and Jalen Fitzpatrick had 88 and 49 yards respectively.
Temple lost the offensive yardage battle to Idaho 478-410 yards in Saturday's game. Temple had more first downs as that total ended up 22-19.
The time of possession battle favored Idaho as their offense was on the field for 33:37, longer than the 26:23 of their opponents.
Next game, Idaho takes its act home to face Fresno State looking for another win. For Temple, they head home to face Louisville.
