Middle Tennessee Defeats Southern Miss 42-21 - Recap
Middle Tennessee got a 103-yard performance from Shane Tucker as a key part of its 42-21 victory over the Golden Eagles on Saturday at MM Roberts Stadium.

Southern Miss was outgained by Middle Tennessee 418-371 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 23-22 by the Blue Raiders.
The time of possession battle favored Southern Miss as their offense was on the field for 33:40, longer than the 26:20 of their opponents.
