Kenneth Dixon tore up the turf for 200 rushing yards on Saturday to lead the Bulldogs to a 38-35 win over the Miners at Sun Bowl.

Texas El Paso was outgained by Louisiana Tech 463-440 yards in Saturday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 24-22 by the Bulldogs.
Louisiana Tech lost the time of possession battle 33:27/26:33, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
