Keith Wenning's 317-yard performance through the air was the key in Ball State's 51-20 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday at Rynearson Stadium.
The Cardinals were a 10-point favorite in the win, and managed to turn a profit for their supporters. The combined score went OVER the total, which closed at 59.5.
Jahwan Edwards rushed for 81 yards, while Horactio Banks added 65 yards in the win. Willie Snead and Jordan Williams added 175 and 105 receiving yards respectively.
Bronson Hill rushed for 126 yards for Eastern Michigan, while Darius Jackson added 44 yards. Tyler Benz threw for 212 yards for the Eagles, while receivers Dustin Creel and Demarius Reed had 60 and 55 yards respectively.
Ball State lost the time of possession battle 33:47/26:13, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Ball State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against Toledo. Eastern Michigan will aim to get back on the winning track at Buffalo.
