Recap - Buckeyes Defeat Buffalo 40-20
Ohio State got a 159-yard performance from Jordan Hall as a key part of its 40-20 victory over the Bulls on Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
Ohio State did not, however, defeat the Bulls against the spread, which closed at 33.5 at most sportsbooks. Totals bettors, meanwhile, saw the game go OVER the closing number of 56.5.
Braxton Miller completed 15 of 22 pass attempts for 178 yards for the Buckeyes in the win. He was picked off 1 time by the Bulls defense.
Branden Oliver rushed for 73 yards for Buffalo, while Anthone Taylor added 8 yards. Joe Licata threw for 185 yards for the Bulls, while receivers Alex Neutz and Devin Campbell had 98 and 31 yards respectively.
Buffalo lost the offensive yardage battle to Ohio State 460-258 yards in Saturday's game. Ohio State had more first downs as that total ended up 23-18.
Buffalo lost the time of possession battle 32:04/27:56, leaving their defense on the field more than they wanted.
Ohio State looks to continue their winning ways next game with a battle against San Diego State. Buffalo will aim to get back on the winning track at Baylor.
